the gifts. a dark purple scarf from my friend, nicole. a new charcoal coat + a denim shirt+ a black leather bag + a classy watch that came as a very early christmas present (and an adorable hair tie from my mom). among the less photogenic gifts: an all-clad pan that i’ve wanted since our wedding, a cozy fisherman sweater, and a perfect leather planner (good-bye iphone calendar, i don’t think i’ll miss you).
for us, winter dates look a lot like this. a chocolate bar (or two) + hot coffee at whole foods…. because good dessert is slim pickings in this neighborhood. its not so bad though, we have pretty good time of it. :)
